[로마] 신학기 개강을 눈 앞에 둔 현재, 이탈리아 주요 의과대학은 “오프라인과 온라인 병행”을 공식 방침으로 재학생 및 신입학 지원자들에게 공지하고 있다. 특히, 스페인과 영국, 프랑스 등에 비해 2차 확산세를 철저하게 막아내는 이탈리아 보건 당국의 코로나19 방역 수칙에 기반하여, 파비아(Pavia)를 비롯한 주요 이탈리아 의과대학은 “출입국이 완전히 제한되는 일부 유학생”을 제외한 절대 다수의 학생들이 출석하여 수강하는데 기술적인 문제가 없음을 최종 확인하여, 대학별 “최소 오프라인 출석일”에 대한 조건을 명시하고 있다. 또한, “강의실 내 사회적 거리두기”를 철저하게 준수하기 위해, “출석 예약 시스템”을 전격적으로 도입하여 각 대학별 전용 앱을 통해 모든 학생들이 “최소 오프라인 출석일”을 지킬 수 있도록 배려한다.
이는, 각 수업별로 배정된 강의실의 좌석 수의 30-70% 수준에 해당하는 좌석만 예약 가능하도록 함으로써, 특정 수업의 오프라인 출석을 예약한 학생들을 지정 강의실로 출석하되, 나머지 예약하지 않은 학생들은 “온라인”으로 실시간 및 VOD 스트리밍을 통해 수강하도록 하는 것이다. 또한, 일부 대학의 경우에는 담당 교수의 재량에 따라 사전에 “수강생별 지정 출석일자”를 별도로 부여하도록 함으로써, “학생들이 자율적으로 출석일 좌석 예약하는 과정에 있어서의 혼선”을 최소화할 수 있도록 배려하기도 한다. 한편, 다수의 대학들이 사용중인 마이크로소프트 Teams 에 기본 탑재된 수업 자료 및 과제 업로드 시스템과 대학별 Esse3 와 같은 학사관리 시스템 상의 호환성을 보다 높이기 위한 기술적 보완에 더 많은 노력을 기울인만큼, 갑작스럽게 대혼란을 겪어야했던 지난 봄 학기와는 달리 “꾸준한 대비”를 통한 “위드 코로나” 시대의 언택트 수업이 될 수 있도록 이탈리아 의과대학 협의체는 최선을 다 하고 있다.
한편, 일반 강의와 달리 “임상 실습” 수업의 경우에는 여전히 대학별로 실습 수칙을 끊임없이 개선하고 보완하는 절차를 진행하고 있으며, 조별 실습에 동시 참여 가능한 인원을 기존의 1/3 수준으로 줄여야하는 코로나19 방역 수칙에 따라, 일부 학생들은 주말이나 새벽 시간 등에 실습을 해야하는 것으로 조사되었다. 다만, 이러한 실습 수칙은 “위드 코로나” 시대에는 보다 근원적인 해결책을 필요로 하기 때문에, 지도 교수 1인이 아닌 각 진료과별 실습 지도 강사진을 대폭 확대하는 등의 보다 획기적인 전환을 고려할 것으로 예측된다. 뿐만 아니라, 여름 방학을 활용한 실습 집중형 수업이 별도로 편성될 가능성도 높게 점쳐지고 있으며, 재학생들은 각자의 사정을 고려하여 독일/스위스/프랑스 등으로 “서브 인턴쉽”을 통해 추가적인 임상 실습의 기회를 얻을 수 있는만큼, 미리 독일어나 프랑스 등 “어학” 학습을 꾸준히 할 수 있는 것이 큰 도움이 될 것으로 보인다.

Dear student,
as communicated by the Chancellor, for the first semester of the upcoming academic year it will be possible to follow the lectures of the medical course taught in English Harvey Medicine and Surgery both on premises and online via streaming or podcasts (slides with comments, audio file and presentation successively uploaded on Google Drive). You will be able to find the lectures’ timetable on the University website or on Kiro.
The number of students on premises for each class has to comply with the number fixed by COVID health directives, this is why is it MANDATORY to confirm your preference using the frequenzainpresenza.unipv.it app. You can login with your current university credentials.
For each teaching you can select your preference to attend the lectures a) ONLINE or b) ON PREMISES. It is crucial to fill out the survey, as ONLY students who expressed their wish to attend the lectures on premises will be able to access the lectures on premises, and before each lecture a roll call including the names of the students wishing to attend will be performed.
Please do not choose attending ON PREMISES if you are not sure, you may take this opportunity away from a fellow student.
Considering the timetable for the course in medicine and surgery, including up to four different classes per day, and taking into account the sanitary measures, it is necessary that each student select the same option for all the classes included in a single teaching during the academic period of reference. Students wishing to attend lectures ON PREMISES will be divided according to the course year (anno di corso) group. The ON PREMISES preferences will be taken into account if possible.
To avoid unnecessary movements, it was indicated that all lectures per year shall be held in the same classroom.
On a fixed day, “check day for preferences” of September 25 we will register all preferences for the Medicine and Surgery Course Golgi/Harvey students; so you are invited to express your preference within September 24.
The students lists admitted on university premises will be published 2 days before the beginning of lectures on Kiro.
It will always be possible to change your preferences.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU HAVE NOT CONFIRMED YOUR PREFERENCE FOR ON PREMISES ATTENDANCE WITHIN THE DEADLINE, YOU CANNOT ATTEND ON PREMISES UNTIL YOU DECLARE OTHERWISE WITHIN THE NEXT DEADLINE.
Another check day for preferences will be set on October 23 for the lectures of November and on November 20 for the lectures of December 2020 and January 2021. For this reason, you can modify your preferences within October 22 and November 19, 2020.
Students not confirming their wish to attend lectures on premises within the set deadlines cannot attend until the following deadline.

In order to smooth process, after you login you will find the list of courses that you have already chosen in your study plan in a.y. 2019/2020 (of which you have not passes the exam yet) and all the courses for next a.y. 2020/2021 that you may wish to attend; you will be able to add/remove courses using the “Add/Remove” button.
Please note that this process is separate from the study plan submission, which you will have to do anyway in the indicated time frame. If you just completed your bachelor and you also plan to enroll in one of our MSc programmes, you can add classes while you wait to complete your enrollment. You will have to use the “Add/Remove” button.
